Lisa is a prolific artist in several different mediums, transparent watercolor, pen and ink, charcoal, and pencil are her most often used mediums. She always is welcoming commission work, from homes to pet portraits. A visit to her home studio will find several art projects in process at any given time.
Lisa has served as the Director of the Lancaster Art Guild; Member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society and the Ohio Plein Air Society, as well as an associate member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. She and her husband Mike are founding member of the Monarch Gallery.
Lisa art career has matured as a result of numerous workshops and classes from local as well as internationally known artists some noted are as follows: Donna Noice, Leland McClelland, Tom Lynch, Sterling Edwards, Chuck McLachlin, Tom Jones, Paul W. McCormick, Steven Quiller, Robert Burbridge, and Luana Luconi Winner. The result of these studies have enabled Lisa's work to mature and expand in several different techniques and styles.
Lisa has shown in numerous juried shows and galleries in Central Ohio over recent years including Lancaster Art Walk, Hocking College, German Village Home and Garden Show, German Village Alley Crawl, Bowen House, High Road Gallery, as well as shows sponsored by the Lancaster Art Guild, Central Ohio Watercolor Society, and Ohio Plein Air Society, Her artwork can be viewed in business and homes throughout central Ohio and always available at the Monarch Gallery in Lancaster, Ohio.
Lisa has made it a point to allow her art support her community and organizations that are close to her heart. She has donated artwork to support: The Lancaster Festival, William V. Fisher Catholic H.S., The Fairfield County Humane Society, American Cancer Society, Fairfield Medical Center, Brain Tumor Charities of Central Ohio, and Charity Newsies.
