Monarch Gallery Artist - June Lee
Currently working in mediums of Watercolor, Acrylics, Pastels, Pen and Ink and Pencil. She also enjoys creating Jewelry, Sculpture, Quilting, and other crafts.

June was born and raised on a cattle ranch at the edge of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. She had an interest in art at an early age which consumed much of her free time. As a mother of eight, free time was not as frequent, but art and crafts still found a place. She has enjoyed art all of her life and is a self taught artist who works in a variety of mediums. She has attended workshops given by famous artists Dimitri Zonia, John Seerey Lester, Russell Norberg, Jessica Zemski, Jack Hines and Frank Smith.
Working with many media types, such as watercolor, acrylics, pen & ink, pencil and book illistration to name a few. June enjoys learning new techniques and has many opportunities in the past to do commission work from painting of pets to billboards. A recent accomplishment is the "Churchpoint Lighthouse" Mural 6' x 15' created for Mauger's Restaurant in Lancaster.
Jewelry is another venue June enjoys. Creating one of a kind neclaces, earrings etc. with beads, charms and fittings.
